Dr. Ashok M. Barot

Dr. Barot graduated from New York University of Dental Medicine in 1978. Dr. Barot continues to attend most of the advanced, post-doctoral study programs. This focus allows him to provide you with a comprehensive and advanced approach to your dental health.

If you are at all nervous about seeing the dentist, book an appointment with Dr. Yuling He. Dr. He will immediately set you at ease with her kind demeanor and warm smile. She is gentle in her work and she will listen to your dental care concerns and work with you to develop the best treatment plan that fits all of your needs.

Dr. He brings her compassion as well as her expertise to her approach to patient care, and is especially sensitive to the needs of children, having completed an externship at the Dental Clinic in the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. Dr. He is a graduate of the Dental School of the University of Pennsylvania and also holds a degree as a general dentist in China where she served as a General Dentist for several years on the faculty of the Dental School at China Medical University.

Dr. He has a strong interest in the advancement of Dental Research and has served as both a research post-doctoral fellow and research associate during her time at the University of Penn. Her work has been published in many articles. Dr. He also holds additional degrees in China, including a Masters in Dental Biology, and a PhD in Histology.

Now, Dr. He is focusing on her clinical practice. She says that her favorite part of dentistry is her interaction with the patients and the individual challenge each case presents. Dr. He performs all aspects of general dentistry including composite restorations, cleanings, molar root canals, crowns and bridgework, simple extractions as well as some partials and dentures. She is currently practicing full-time at our Torresdale Ave. office in Northeast Philadelphia.


Dr. Zaliya Akbasheva

Dr. Akbasheva is a graduate of the Dental School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has also worked as an Oral Surgeon in.....

Dr. Akbasheva respects her patients' schedules and tries to complete her patients' treatment plans in as few visits as necessary. She has the talent of performing her work at a quick pace while still devoting individual attention to each and every patient. Dr. Akbasheva is comfortable performing procedures not offered by many other general dentists, including surgical and simple extractions, molar and anterior root canals, and extensive work with dentures and partials. She offers more routine services as well, such as composite restorations, cleanings, and crowns and bridgework. Dr. Akbasheva has worked full-time at both of our 5th St. and Torresdale Ave. offices.


Dr. Anil Kumar Reddy Manda

Dr. Manda is a licensed dentist in India as well as the U.S. and also holds a masters degree in Public Health from Florida International Univ. He graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in the top 10% of his class. He also has experience working as a Managing Clinical Director for a dental practice in Indiana.

Dr. Manda enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry, including cleanings, composite restorations, simple extractions, molar and anterior root canals, crown and bridge work, as well as dentures and partials. Additionally, Dr. Manda has just completed a course in orthodontics at.....

Dr. Madhavi Karnam

Dr. Karnam is a caring and ambitious young dentist. She graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and also earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Temple. She enjoys having the opportunity to practice general dentistry in the same neighborhood where she spent so much of her collegiate life. Dr. Karnam is a recent addition to our practice, having joined us in February 2010. We are happy to welcome her into our family as we grow together.

She practices composite restorations, cleanings, simple extractions, anterior root canals, crown and bridge work, as well as some complete and partial dentures. Dr. Karman is also Invisalign certified. She is currently practicing Mondays through Thursdays in our office at 649 E. Allegheny Ave.


Dr. Alexander Robert Cruz

It's hard not to like Dr. Cruz. He is friendly and outgoing, quick with a smile and is sure to put the most nervous patient at ease. Dr. Cruz enjoys interacting with patients on a personal level and draws on his experience as an instructor and his work with children to listen to his patients' needs and to communicate effectively to develop the best possible treatment plan.

Dr. Cruz is a graduate from the Temple University School of Dentistry and has extensive experience himself as a teacher in dental field. Dr. Cruz has taught courses in restorative dentistry, Expanded Function Dental Assisting, and has even operated his own school in General Dental Assisting.

Dr. Cruz performs all aspects of General Dentistry, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures. He is also comfortable with simple extractions, root canals, crown and bridge work, and full and partial dentures. Dr. Cruz is currently practicing part-time in the evenings at our new Revere St. office.
